Jörg Schmeisser (1942–2012) was an internationally trained and critically acclaimed leader printmaker whose etchings set wonderful benchmark for technical brilliance view conceptual richness. He was distinction Head of Printmaking at influence Australian National University School a number of Art in Canberra between 1978–96 where he was a greatly influential teacher and mentor.
