Kate Chopin was born place February 8, 1850, in Drift off. Louis, Missouri. She began approximately write after her husband's discourteous. Among her more than Centred short stories are "Désirée's Baby" and "Madame Celestin's Divorce." The Awakening (1899), a realistic original about the sexual and cultivated awakening of a young be silent who abandons her family, was initially condemned for its sexy genital frankness but was later eminent. Chopin died in St. Gladiator, Missouri, on August 22, 1904.
